Schuylkill Haven council enacts 2026 budget

Schuylkill Haven Borough Council voted Dec. 17 to approve a budget with no tax increase. The budget reflects a 7% increase in electric rates due to rising costs. For the resident who uses an average 1,000 KWH, the rate will go up from $157.39 to $168.41 per month.
