- Authorities imposed closures and suspended internet services in Nuh district amid concerns over potential unrest and disruptions during the religious processions.
- Security measures include increased police deployment at 35 religious sites, rerouting traffic on a 146 km Kanwar Yatra route, and installing 366 CCTV cameras to manage large crowds.
- Districts like Ujjain and Varanasi mandated closures every Monday during Sawan to ensure children’s safety, with Ujjain’s Mahakal Temple and Varanasi’s Kashi Vishwanath seeing extensive pilgrim gatherings.
