Falling boulders strand scores of motorists in France
Hundreds of people in France's Savoie region slept in emergency accommodations over the weekend after several boulders fell on a road, closing one of the main routes to major ski resorts, police said.
Traffic remains difficult this Sunday, February 2, the day after a landslide that paralyzed traffic and forced hundreds of motorists to stop in the accommodations offered in several cities in Savoy.
Nearly 400 beds are available in Moutiers, while the road to the ski resorts was completely blocked by the fall of two large rock blocks.
