The Sargadelos factory is one of the most emblematic in the history of Spanish ceramics. Its origin dates back to the late eighteenth century when the Marquis of Sargadelos, Antonio Raimundo Ibáñez, founded in 1791 an industrial complex in the municipality of Cervo (Lugo) for the production of high quality earthenware and iron with the first private blast furnace.
