Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 Specs Emerge Ahead Of Official Reveal
The leak highlights a redesigned action button, ruggedized styling and 5,000-nit brightness before Samsung’s July 22 launch.
Prolific leaker Evan Blass published official-looking renders of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 on his Substack newsletter Leakmail, revealing the device's appearance and confirming weeks of spec leaks just days before Samsung's announcement.
Samsung smartphones and watches typically leak widely ahead of official launches, unlike Apple's tightly controlled releases, with Galaxy Unpacked scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, leaving roughly 48 hours before announcement.
The leaked images show an 800mAh battery, up from 590mAh, paired with a 5,000-nit display versus 3,000 nits previously, while the device uses Snapdragon Wear Elite with on-device AI and carries an IP69K water-resistance rating in titanium construction.
Samsung will offer two color options—titanium with olive green band and all-black with matching band, both featuring orange crown accents—though the company has not acknowledged the leak and pricing remains unconfirmed despite reports suggesting a price increase.
Samsung's July 22 Galaxy Unpacked event in London will officially unveil the Watch Ultra 2 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, Flip 8, and Watch 9, with preorders opening July 16 and shipping beginning in October.
