Russia has proposed a "concrete two- to three-day ceasefire in parts of its front line to Ukraine," a high-ranking Kremlin representative announced on Monday after talks with Ukrainian representatives in Istanbul.
Russian chief negotiator Vladimir Medinski said today that he proposed to Ukraine, during the second round of peace negotiations in Istanbul, steps to be taken to declare a total ceasefire on the front.
