On Wednesday (August 28), Marco Rubio, vice chairman of the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee, and John Moolenaar, chairman of the House Select Committee on China, wrote to Defense Secretary Austin, asking the Department of Defense to "immediately" add Chinese battery manufacturer CATL, which has ties to the Chinese Communist Party, to the 1260H blacklist.
