DFW Airport Gets First Flights to New Part of Middle East
Royal Jordanian will operate four weekly nonstop flights using Boeing 787-8 aircraft, expanding its U.S. presence with a 7,036-mile route, the longest in its network.
- Starting May 10, 2026, Royal Jordanian Airlines will introduce nonstop flights connecting Dallas Fort Worth International Airport with Amman's Queen Alia airport in Jordan.
- The new route comes as part of DFW's effort to grow its long-haul international network and offers North Texas its first nonstop flights to Jordan and the Middle East outside Dubai.
- Flights will operate year-round four times a week on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, which have 270 seats including 24 business-class seats, with schedules optimized for connecting regional destinations.
- Chris McLaughlin, CEO of DFW Airport, highlighted that adding Royal Jordanian to their list of carriers enhances the airport’s international connections. This route represents Royal Jordanian’s fifth destination in the U.S., joining Chicago, Detroit, New York, and Washington, D.C.
- The service will extend DFW's connections to the Middle East and may facilitate additional links throughout the eastern Mediterranean via Royal Jordanian's network, strengthening DFW's position as a prominent international hub.
