Rohit Sharma hit his 352nd ODI six, breaking Shahid Afridi’s record in 100 fewer innings, during the first match against South Africa at Ranchi’s JSCA Stadium.
- On November 30, 2025 in Ranchi, Rohit Sharma broke the ODI sixes record by reaching 352 maximums during the first ODI, India vs South Africa at JSCA International Stadium.
- Rohit began the match two sixes behind Shahid Afridi and opened after Aiden Markram's South Africa put India in, remaining focused on ODIs after leading the Champions Trophy earlier this year.
- He struck successive sixes off Prenelan Subrayen, cracking his 350th and 351st ODI sixes, and shortly after his half-century hit the record six off Marco Jansen, finishing with three sixes and five fours in 57 off 50 balls.
