A rockslide has closed a small county road north of Highway 12 in Las Animas County on Friday. We first learned about the rock slide after seeing a post from Davena Cisneros, who ran into the aftermath of the slide on their morning commute to school on Friday. In the afternoon of yesterday, Wednesday, a landslide was reported in the road PR-10, kilometer 45.3, in the direction of Utuado towards Arecibo, reported the Police Negotiate. Authorities have been working since yesterday to remove rocks and debris that have fallen due to the continuous rains reported in recent days.

A landslide with falling rocks was reported this Wednesday afternoon at kilometer 45.3 of the PR-10 road, in the direction of Utuado towards Arecibo, the Police reported. Two of the lanes remain obstructed due to the detachment, attributed to the weather conditions. Only one lane remains passable.
