Riverview's new fire trucks carry more water, tools for emergencies

With a larger water tank, firefighters arriving at a scene can connect the hoses and start spraying immediately. For a large fire, they can also set up portable water tanks that look like swimming pools, and then send tanker trucks to the nearest hydrant, lake or other water source to keep refilling it. The new truck can also be used with firefighting foam, which is mixed with water for fire suppression.
