New used bookstore set to open in Church Hill this summer

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A new bookstore is set to open this summer in Richmond's Church Hill area. Brian's Books, a new bookstore specializing in vintage and used books, magazines, comics and zines, will host its grand opening weekend from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15. Brian's Books is located at 2514 P Street in Richmond, and the operating hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

“It’s a lot of sorting through and a lot of hunting. To me, that’s kind of the fun. I like having the mission of the book,” said Brian Baynes, the owner of new used bookstore Brian's Books.
