Rhode Island Energy ends offshore wind talks with SouthCoast Wind

Rhode Island Energy has cut off negotiations with SouthCoast Wind, meaning the state’s largest utility will not procure 200 megawatts of offshore wind energy from the project under development by Ocean Winds, a joint venture of Engie and EDP Renewables, two European companies.
