U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced on Monday (November 17) that new dietary guidelines will be released next month, ending the long-standing "mainstream" healthy food view that demonizes butter, cheese, milk, and red meat for their so-called anti-saturated fats.
New dietary guidelines in the United States are intended to "end the decades-long battle against saturated fat." Robert F. Kennedy, head of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, announced that recommendations that could change the current approach to Americans' diets will be published next month.
