Restaurant closed indefinitely after ceiling collapse

The LongHorn Steakhouse outside the Maine Mall in South Portland was packed Friday night - about 150 customers and employees – when a portion of the ceiling collapsed.

A large boom at 1:15 a.m. on the night of Sunday to Monday woke up this tenant on Philippe-Fabia Street, in the U.S. neighborhood (Lyon 8th). Firefighters intervened and in safety removed everything that threatened to fall down to the ceiling. The landlord assured the tenant that she would be accompanied if her temporary relocation was necessary.
