The rings are not just for Saturn. Astronomers have discovered a system of three rings around (2060) Chiron, a small body of 200 km located between Saturn and Uranus. It is the smallest object ever seen with rings. The study suggests that these rings are recent and in full formation, a phenomenon never observed live, probably due to the cometary activity of Chiron.
