Rabbit Ears pass closed Friday after snow plow leaves the road

The Colorado Department of Transportation announced U.S. Highway 40 was reopened in both directions around 2 p.m. on Friday. The pass was closed in both directions just before 11 a.m. Friday due to a “vehicle recovery,” according to CDOT.
