‘R’ driver clocked doing 109mph on motorway

An R driver clocked driving at 109mph on the motorway has had his case adjourned. Donal Kerr (19), of Summerhill Gardens, Dunmurry, also had no R plates displayed when detected near Portadown on July 27 this year. When the case was mentioned at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court, District Judge Michael Ranaghan noted the defendant was a “45mph restricted driver clocked doing 109mph on the motorway”. The case was adjourned to November 14.
