Quilts of Valor recognizes eight local veterans

LANETT — On Wednesday afternoon, a Quilts of Valor ceremony was held in the Lanett First Baptist Church sanctuary. Eight local veterans received quilts made for them by members of the Georgia-Alabama State Line chapter of the Quilts of Valor. A good-sized crowd was on hand to see an impressive ceremony hosted by these local quilters.
