PWHL Detroit Unveils Jerseys Ahead of Inaugural 2026-27 Season
The gold design includes burnt orange and deep red accents inspired by Hamilton’s steel industry and sports history, the league said.
On Thursday, October 8, 2026, the PWHL unveiled inaugural jerseys for its four expansion teams—Hamilton, Detroit, Las Vegas, and San Jose—ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Hamilton's gold home jerseys feature burnt orange and deep red accents inspired by the city's steel industry and sports history, while Detroit's white and red scheme references the 313 area code and Hockeytown's legacy.
"There's a standard that comes with representing this city," PWHL Detroit forward Hilary Knight said, while all four franchises continue the tradition of featuring city names stitched diagonally across the front.
Hamilton debuts cream road jerseys on December 5 against the Montreal Victoire at Place Bell, while Detroit starts December 6 in Las Vegas before a December 12 home opener at Little Caesars Arena.
League officials plan to reveal official team names and logos before the season begins, with new branding incorporated into uniforms for the 2027-28 campaign.
