Vladimir Havinson was looking for methods to slow down aging. A professor described as Vladimir Putin's “personal gerontologist” has died, according to several independent Russian media reports. Vladimir Havinson, director of the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, died suddenly at the age of 77 in early January. The cause of his death has not been released.
