Province cannot revoke Chemours permit, according to research

The province of South Holland has virtually no options to revoke Chemours' permit or to shut down the factory in Dordrecht. That is the conclusion of a study conducted by the University of Groningen and TU Delft on behalf of the province. In September 2023, the Provincial Council requested the board to have an external study conducted into the legal possibilities to (partially) shut down Chemours.
