Pritzker blasted the Trump administration for eliminating or threatening to eliminate various anti-violence programs, saying, “Public safety is under attack by the Trump administration.” At a South Side event celebrating an investigation into a publicly funded anti-violence program in Chicago neighborhoods, Pritzker listed a long list of cuts and proposed cuts by the administration.
