Former French prime minitser Gabriel Attal, also a candidate in the 2027 presidential election, has filed a legal complaint alleging "foreign interference originating from Russian networks" after discovering he was the target of several deepfakes, fake news videos and fake newspaper front pages earlier this week.
The presidential candidate and leader of the Renaissance party filed a complaint for "foreign interference" in "Russian networks", his lawyers announced on Saturday, August 8.
