Prep Notebook: Wayne State gets athletic in backcourt with Mason, Wilson commitments

Wayne State men’s basketball head coach Bryan Smothers and recently added assistant coach Gjon Djokaj have been busy picking up commitments from local players. Last weekend, the Warriors got a commitment out of L’anse Creuse North 2026 guard Julius Wilson. A contributor since his freshman year, the 6-foot-2 Wilson was critical to the Crusaders’ deep playoff run to the quarterfinals this past season, including the game-winning basket in regionals…
