Premier hits 40,000 – European attendances in 2024-25

FOR ONLY the second time in history, English football’s top flight’s average attendances topped 40,000 thanks to the growing number of clubs with a ground capacity above 60,000. This represented a 4.8% increase on 2023-24 in a year in which many leagues enjoyed growth in matchday crowds.
