'Power' Star Alix Lapri Arrested In Metro ATL
Alix Lapri and her sister were charged with exposing a child to family violence, a third-degree cruelty offense under Georgia law; details remain undisclosed by authorities.
On August 18, 2025, Alexus Lapri Geier was arrested in DeKalb County and booked on cruelty to children in the third degree and disorderly conduct, processed into DeKalb County Jail shortly before 5 p.m.
The incident is reported to have occurred on August 10, with Georgia law noting cruelty charges arise when a child under 18 witnesses a forcible felony or battery.
She spent just over 24 hours in jail before being released on August 19 and posted on social media on Monday saying 'Gotta keep at it, buddy. Chase the dream and know no fear.'
The online response has raised questions about how the matter may affect her career, as the mugshot circulated widely and Power co-stars Gianni Paolo and Michael Rainey Jr. publicly reacted.
Lapri's career began in music in 2011 and expanded into TV and film; Alexus Lapri Geier is known for Effie Morales on Power and Den of Thieves, while her sister Alijsha Lenea Geier was arrested this past week.
