Portraits Of Pride: Jim Galik and Jean Slusser have spent their lives welcoming LGBTQIA+ folks in Westmoreland County

From the 1970s all the way through the end of the 2000s, both Jim Galik and Jean Slusser worked at Torrance State Hospital through the Social Service Department. Both were psychiatric social workers, caring for patients going through some of life’s deepest crises.
