Conservative Polish President Karol Nawrocki announced on Thursday that he had vetoed a law aimed at reversing changes to the judiciary introduced by the previous conservative government, threatening Tusk's promises to restore the independence of the judiciary, German news agency dpa reported.
The right-wing conservative leader Nawrocki makes his announcement true and goes on a confrontational course against the government. But this one has a plan B.

The one wanted by Tusk's pro-European government to restore independence to the judiciary and overturn the reforms made by the extreme right, of which the president is a member.
