Two persons were killed in separate incidents of shootings in Helsinki and Porvoo early Wednesday, police said. In Helsinki, the murder took place when a man came under a gun attack in a private residence at Pikku Huopalahti area at about 12:40 a.m. The victim sustained severe bullet wounds and died on the spot. Helsinki police are investigating a suspected murder that occurred after midnight on Wednesday, October 15 in Pikku Huopalahti. The emergency center received a report at 0:46 that a shooting had possibly occurred in a private apartment. Police arrived at the scene and found the deceased in the apartment.
