Police granted 36 more hours to question Russian captain of North Sea crash ship

- Humberside Police confirmed that Motin was arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter after the crash incident on Monday.
- Chief Coastguard Paddy O’Callaghan reported that both vessels are currently stable and under surveillance, while investigations into navigational practices and protocols on board are underway.
- Authorities have not confirmed if either vessel complied with AIS requirements, and it remains unclear whether they were in contact prior to the collision.
