Arie Kievit has won the Silver Camera this year. The photographer received this prestigious prize for Dutch photojournalism for his photo series documenting the riots following a demonstration demanding stricter asylum policies. Kievit received the award Friday in Hilversum from the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Thom van Campen. He created the series commissioned by de Volkskrant.
