A wild garlic pesto sauce from a small local producer in central France has been linked to the cases of suspected botulism - a potentially fatal disease.

An investigation has been opened following the admission to intensive care in Tours of five people who ate tins of wild garlic pesto. The authorities are trying to find 600 jars that were sold, reports AFP.
