The Renaissance patron, potential candidate in 2027, presents his proposals this week on economic issues and in favour of work.
The leader of the Renaissance presidential party, Gabriel Attal, proposed this Sunday, June 29, in an interview with the "Echos" to reform the pension system without referring to the legal age of departure but based on the length of contribution, in a series of economic proposals for the presidential.
In an interview with the Echos, the president's party boss said he wanted to build a system of "universal, free and productive" pensions. A few weeks ago, he had detailed his proposals on the Regalian side.
The Renaissance leader says that he will support the measures chosen by the government that "improve reform if they are funded", while advocating for the implementation of a "new system", including a capitalization share.
The wage share of the old-age contribution would be abolished if such a measure came into force.
The former Prime Minister put forward in the newspaper "Les Echos" the idea of a new reform for a system of "universal, free and productive" pensions through a referendum before 2027.
