"Pedro" returned to Cherry Point base after three months of restoration

CHERRY POINT, N.C. (WNCT) -- The HH-46D Sea Knight, "Pedro," is back on display at Marine Corps Air Station in Cherry Point. Pedro has been at the Fleet Readiness Center East since March 25, 2025, undergoing paint restoration. Pedro's main mission was Search and Rescue, which made it unique across the Marine Corps.
