A cyclist collided with a pedestrian on the Geldropseweg in Mierlo on Friday afternoon. The pedestrian was injured in the head. Two ambulances and a trauma helicopter were called to the scene. The police temporarily closed the cycle path where the accident occurred and the service road next to it. The victim was eventually taken to hospital by ambulance. The cyclist escaped unscathed.
