Paxton charter effort moving forward, looking for input - The Landmark

PAXTON — A group of residents is working, on a smaller scale than Thomas Jefferson did for a new nation, on a “constitution” for the town. Like the group that drafted the Constitution of the United States, Paxton Charter Committee members are charged with crafting a new charter for the town, informed by historical traditions but with a mostly blank slate, to bring town governance up to new standards.
