The last race of the world series has started in southern China: the 6th Tour of Guangxi. The opening sprint stage was won, as expected, by 21-year-old Frenchman Paul Magnier (Soudal QuickStep). The only Slovenian in China, Luka Mezgec, was 38th.

The final stage of the cycling world series has begun in China. The first, 149.7-kilometer stage of the Tour of Guangxi was decided by a sprint won by Frenchman Paul Magnier (Soudal-Quick Step). Second place went to German Max Kanter and third to Belgian Jordi Meeus.
