- Young completed 31 of 45 passes with three touchdowns and no interceptions, while rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan had eight catches and two touchdowns and Tommy Tremble, tight end, made a 54-yard overtime catch-and-run setting up Ryan Fitzgerald, kicker’s 28-yard game-winning field goal.
- The win moved Carolina Panthers within half a game of NFC South leader the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and they travel to face the San Francisco 49ers on Nov. 24.
