Özgür Özel, the newly elected chairman of the CHP (Republican People's Party), spoke at the opening of the Alzheimer's Center in Eskişehir. Stating that CHP-led municipalities continue to provide services despite all the pressure, Özel said, "It is very meaningful to see that our municipalities are leaving lasting legacies for the future despite all the attacks."
