Ostrava Liberty Wants to Buy Ex-Minister Pecina, Administrator Asks for a Higher Price

Only the company SPV Nova Hut has submitted a binding offer to buy the bankrupt Liberty Ostrava steelworks. Its owner is former Interior Minister Martin Pecina, who has declared his will to continue operating the company. However, according to insolvency administrator Šimon Peták, the offered amount is too low. Therefore, he wants the interested party to increase it, said the insolvency administrator's spokesman Michal Štefl.
