The cloud of hazardous substances that was released on the FrieslandCampina site in Borculo on Friday evening has now evaporated. No hazardous substances ended up on the ground. This was reported by the Safety Region of North and East Gelderland at around 01:00 on Saturday morning.
A chemical reaction between two hazardous substances in a truck on a FrieslandCampina factory site in Borculo, Gelderland, has released orange vapour clouds. The fire brigade is taking measurements to investigate whether the smoke clouds contain toxic substances, says a spokesperson for the North and East Gelderland Safety Region.
