The Government of the State of Veracruz announced that it had launched the safeguard of public goods as part of the electoral “shield” for the elections on Sunday, 1 June, to renovate 212 municipalities and state judicial posts. The municipal elections in Veracruz and Durango will serve as evidence to learn how oiled the party’s system of co-optation in the government follows. Without legal, moral or ethical restraints that sanction the unlawful conduct committed by public servants (turned into campaign leaders of the guindas candidates), especially in Veracruz, the election of 212 mayors seems to be defined, not so in the 39 mayors that are disputed in Durango.
