- The Knife Warehouse said it had probably sold more than 100 machetes in 2023, and Nicholas Moss KC said the 'Black Panther' kukri was branded to appear ferocious.
- Following the evidence, Knife Warehouse now asks customers for proof of address as well as ID when verifying over-18 status, and two of three machetes purchased in 2023 were intercepted by his father.
- Inquiry chairman Sir Adrian Fulford asked whether the company met its legal duty regarding delivery and packaging, noting packaging did not advise it contained a bladed item.
