Sweden has been told to brace for a downpour which may see more than one month’s worth of rain fall in less than 24 hours as it batters south-eastern parts of the country.
In just a few hours, the normal amount of rain for an entire month fell over Falster – and it continues to rain throughout Denmark on Tuesday.
Finland will be spared this time from the storm coming from Britain. The storm coming from Britain will bring heavy rain to Denmark and Sweden. Over the next 24 hours, Denmark may receive up to 100 millimeters of rain, warns Foreca. In Finland, rain is classified as heavy rain if it rains more than 20 millimeters in a day.
