On Saturday, February 14, the municipality of Merano participates for the thirteenth time in a row in One Billion Rising, the world's largest mobilization against violence against women and girls. On the program there is a short parade, which begins in front of the Prince's Castle and ends at Thermenplatz. There the traditional flash mob takes place as a liberating and collective act of rejection of gender-based violence.
