A man from Brockton, Massachusetts, was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly selling a fentanyl analogue to a cooperating witness while on parole for two separate drug cases in 2019 and 2024, the Department of Justice's prosecution office said. According to prosecution documents, on November 1, 2024, Joshua Tavares, 29, would have sold 100 grams of a fentanyl analogue to a cooperating witness and the alleged transaction was videotaped.
