The Ogiek, a community in the Rift Valley, in central Kenya, have been fighting for their land for decades. They were back before the African Court of Human Rights in Arusha, Tanzania, this week. The Ogieks come from the Mau forest, from where they were evicted several times in Kenyan history. In 2017, the African Court of Human Rights ruled that they had to recover their land. But six years later, nothing was done.
