Fremont County and the City of Cañon City are seeing declining retail sales tax revenues as they close out the first quarter of 2025. During Tuesday’s Board of County Commissioners meeting, Budget & Finance Officer Shawn Sutton reported the county numbers, but said those figures could pick up in the summer months.
