N.J. state police detective charged for chasing motorcyclist killed in 2023 crash
New Jersey State Police Detective Mark Campagna has been charged with endangering another person for his role in a high-speed chase that led to a motorcyclist's death in Burlington County in 2023, the New Jersey Attorney General's Office said. Campagna was off-duty and using an unmarked state police vehicle when he followed 24-year-old Omar Kebbabi for roughly 3 miles, sometimes topping 100 mph before the motorcyclist struck another car and died.
